The estate
Three blocks, one family, forty years.
Merla Estate was planted in 1987 on a south-facing shelf of volcanic soil in the Willamette Valley. We farm 42 acres across three blocks, dry-farmed and organic since 2009.
Everything we bottle comes from these blocks. Some wines wait six years in barrel before they earn a label; others are gone by August. The club and the cellar door are how we share them.
